Diamond Lash eye フェアリー (Upper lashes)

-grinning- Know how I’ve been using a lot of false lashes with pointy ends? Well, now I’m going back to my roots (can’t believe I just said that) and using some lashes that are thick as a dream.

This is from Diamond Lash’s original series and this is フェアリー eye!

This brand is used very often by the EGG models and Kanako uses 小悪魔eye like, all the time. :X I don’t quite get why though… I don’t really like the way it looks in the tray so I didn’t buy it that time :X

I have to say, Diamond Lash makes the most dramatically beautiful lashes compared to any other brand… (Melliesh is my personal favourite for natural lashes.) And this particular model certainly doesn’t disappoint.

You know how some lashes that look like this end up making you feel like there’s an umbrella over your eyes? Well, I didn’t get that feeling with these lashes and I think it’s the way the lashes are placed on the spine (one by one)… They fan out really beautifully, making it look naturally dramatic but this is precisely where a problem could occur.

You see, the spine is very… Stretchable and gooey and if you’d like, you can even use your nails to clump the lashes together… But but but… If you’re not careful, it might rip and that explains the two lone rangers on my tray as seen in the picture above. -laughing- Guess what though, it really worked out well for me cause I would have need to snip that portion off anyways.

But oh, I should mention that the spine actually came flapping off, leaving those two on the tray and while I was worried about it poking my eyes? No such thing. Too comfortable for words, I swear.

The spine is also really soft and filmsy, that means that it will conform to your eyes like *snap* which can be both good and bad – I had some difficulty initially but yay for tweezers.

Don’t worry about removing the glue from the lash band either, the one I use is DUP and Clinique MELTS it.

Diamond Lash on my upper lid and -takes a deep breath- one part of 2 strand Dolly Wink #8, two parts of 4 strand Dolly Wink #8, one part Decorative Lash クロスショート on my lower! Yes, I went a little crazy that day cause it was my photoshoot day. -laughing-

Would you look at the amount of volume is gave my lashes?! That’s some really crazy stuff! The thing is, I didn’t feel any… Heavy weight that I sometimes get with other lashes sometimes… I remember my very first pair of lashes from DARKNESS and goodness me, that was crazy volume but it made my eyes look… Flappy. You know what I mean right?

The lighting was atrocious in the car, but check out how natural they look! I was really surprised with how the photos from the shoot turned out because the lashes looked like they boosted my lashes without being completely over the top.

Yup, no questions about it, Diamond Lash really lives up to its name. I’m quitting Dolly Wink for sure.

Aww man, now I’ve got three different sets to get! Melliesh blushes, Candy Doll blushes and Diamond Lash eyelashes… OTL

✔ Ease of application: 7.5/10 [Careful and easy does it… >_< I hate it when it rips.]

✔ Price: It’s 1050 Yen for five pairs so it’s very economical seeing that you’ll be able to reuse them… >_<

Verdict:
One of the best lashes I’ve used in this design. I’m really impressed with how comfortable they are and so going back for more!
