Jewelrich False Lashes!
It’s one of the other new false lashes out there, love! Fronted by EGG model Yunkoro and… A very familiar model that I cannot seem to recognize right now, it’s been featured on POP quite a bit and here it is now! Jewelrich!
There are three types of lashes in all:
Jewelrich #01
ジュエリッチ アイラッシュ
Upper lashes here~
Jewelrich #02
ジュエリッチ アイラッシュ
These are upper lashes!
This one looks a little bit like EYEmazing 001 but hmm…
The spaces in between are way closer.
Jewelrich #03
ジュエリッチ アイラッシュ
Lower lashes over here~ These look really promising… -makes a note to get them-
I saw this and just had to put this up. >_< This is the type of different false lashes can make, babe!
In this picture, #01 was used…
And over here, it’s #02 upper lashes~ plus #03 lower lashes!
Hehe! Enjoy dear~!
The differece between no lashes and with lashes is amazing!. I really like this post – thanx.
Also, the other model is Kana Nishino (she’s like the “it” girl at the moment).
Hey dear! 😀
Haha, glad you like it, I personally found it too shocking to not feature >_<
Thanks for the heads up about Nishino btw! 😀
They appear in Scawaii mostly. And the lashes do not live up to the hype, at all. They look plastic, feel plastic, and while priced somewhat expensive, they make you feel tacky and cheap. I would not recommend them at all.
The lower lash is slightly better than the other two upper lash, but only just.
What a disappointment. I want my money back…
Hi June!
Oh dear… I’m so sorry it didn’t work out well for you… >_< Thanks for letting us know though!
Now we know which lashes to avoid…. :X
Jewelrich #3 looks nice!!! i also want T.T
do you mind opening a spree of this? hehe just asking.. cant find this online thou >.<
Hi babe!
XD I might look around and see if there are too many orders first for this spree kaykay? 😀
I’m going to try to keep under 400sgd otherwise there’ll be GST T_T!
Hello dear~~~~!!!!
I know right!? XD I actually just like the fact that they were featured in EGG before… T_T
okay!! I just liked the look of the lashes and how it brings out the eye!!
keep me updated!! 🙂
XD So pretty right?! >__<
do you mind if i tweet the before and after lash pic you posted?
XD Of course not! Do leave my site addy up on the piccy though kaykay? 😀
Thanks for letting me know btw dearie… ❤
Actually the 2 models are Kana Hoshino(left) and Megumi Ikeda(right). They’re both models for Scawaii. Kana models for Popsister as well so you might find her familiar.
I’m quite excited to try these lashes too but I get the feeling they will be very plasticky and totally uncomfortable.
Hello doll,
😀 thanks so much for the info~ Aiyaya, I think I should pay more attention to the Scawaii models as well now… And yes! One of the other girls commented that they’re really plastic like so im quite hesitant to touch them now…>_<
Hi Jae, I’m the one trashing the lashes before, but now that I’ve put them on several times already, and have walked around in them, and have people commented on them, etc etc. I’m confident about my trashing. They are not worth it!
No. 1 is absolutely atrocious, they are so obvious and plastic, and over-the-top, a drag queen would only wear them on a Saturday night, drunk.
No. 2 actually got better after a few try, they are slightly more comfortable (only comparing with No 1, and that is one LOW standard), and slightly more natural/decent looking, but they are not very “strongly built”, the whole thing fell apart after I cleaned them twice.
No. 3 remains elusive, I put them on today, and I couldn’t gather the courage to walk outside, again too over-the-top, for me. For a photo shoot they look nice, but daily life? No No No.
I’m sticking with Dolly Wink, 100 times better than this pathetic range Jewelrich.
Also worth mentioning, I doubt Kana had any input in designing these eyelashes, I think she’s only the model wearing them on the cover, and her job stopped there. Because in one of the recent Popteen issue, I think it was the July (Japan) issue, all these models were showing how they would achieve a “round-eye” look, and Kana was the first girl demonstrating this, and she didn’t use a single product from this Jewelrich range.
Usually models would feel compelled, or proud to use something they designed or acting as the image person for, but nope, not in Kana’s case.
In conclusion? Just don’t buy. (If you simply must, then maybe No.2, but believe me you can get similar ones from any Taiwan-made, $10 for 10 pairs, plastic eyelashes)
Hey June!
Goodness gracious… Thank you so much for letting us know – I had no idea they’d be so bad…
I guess that really is money saved for all of us… I’m quite disappointed to hear about this though, cause they looked awesome in the pictures but it sounds like we’re better off buying lashes from Daiso… -sends a virtual hug- Thanks so much babe! ♡
Hi Jae~~~ yeah, those lashes “looked” amazing in all the magazines, but I’m guessing that’s because you are looking at them through those camera lens, and they rarely give you the real deal. I had people doing double-takes at my lashes all day long when I wore No. 1… and they didn’t stare in a good way…
I also have some news regarding some of your anticipated purchases from Candy Doll, I just got my lip gloss today, I bought one in Macaroon Pink and one in Strawberry Milk, I’m a big “pink” girl, so no orange lip gloss for me (I live in Australia, and it’s winter now anyways, orange would look out of place). And I have to say I prefer Melliesh…
First of all, these Candy Doll lip gloss are very sticky, which reminded me lip gloss from the dark ages, where Stella ruled the lip gloss world. But I guess the stickier, the more lasting power?? Again, in windy weather, not such a good idea.
Secondly, they are very thick. Thick and sticky, what a perfect combo… it’s hard to get the gloss out of the bottle, and even harder to apply evenly across your lips, and while you try to “push” the content around your lips, it’s really easy to “de-flake” those delicate skin. My suggestion is to exfoliate beforehand, if you don’t want to see hooker-lip on your face.
Thirdly, the lip gloss claims to be hydrating, at this stage, I’m only giving it the benefit of the doubt, at the very best.
And lastly, while they do give good coverage in terms of color, but they don’t compare to that of Melliesh.
Price vs. volume is not really a factor for me, I never get through any of them anyway, so I didn’t compare them in this aspect.
Overall, I would stick with Melliesh, and what a shame, I’ve been anticipating the new Candy Doll products with baited breath, just as I did with Jewelrich Lashes. I buy into the hype EVERY TIME!!!
Hope this would significantly reduce your disappointment when you receive your lip gloss, I’m certainly very disappointed today. Sigh.
Hope you have a lovely week!
Kind regards,
June
Hey BB!
Omg, thank you so much for your reviews! -sending a lot of love-
-laughing- You know, I really do think that Melliesh is a lot better than what the other models have pushed out so far.
