Yes dear, if you haven’t heard, MAC’s cancelled the launch for their Rodarte collaboration line – probably because of all the controversy that surrounded the collection in the first place.

The designers had apparently taken inspiration from their road trip in Mexico and subsequently came up with this collection together with the names for the products.

Some people felt that the names in the range (eg. Juarez and Ghost Town) were offensive because of the nature of the place the inspiration was taken from (Juarez) where femicide is rampant.

After much consideration, MAC has decided to pull the launch of the collection altogether – Mmm. Good decision? Bad decision? I think it’s great that they’re going the extra mile but the halt of distribution really will be a waste of products… Perhaps they should donate it to the people of Juarez? Just my personal opinion, of course, because this could benefit those people as well.

      Hey babe,
According to what I’ve been reading, it’s completely not going to be on shelves…
But I’m very sure that they’re not going to release it in SG because they mentioned that they’ll be cancelling the launch on their FB page ^_^
