Ranzuki October Issue False Lashes!
Overdue post, I know! OTL Sumimasen!
October’s Ranzuki came with a pair of upper and lower lashes~ >_< I promised to review them earlier but got caught up!
-grinning- here I am with a really really quick review of them~!
Now, the lashes are relatively soft but the spine was rather tricky to work with because it was kind of hard? The edges weren’t too pokey though, so I could deal with that.

Yes, you’re looking at transparent lash bands and a design that looks very close to our beloved dollywink #2! -grinning- Picture below for reference~ ❤
It was my first time working with a full strip of lower lash but surprisingly, I didn’t have much trouble putting them on with the help from my ever-trusty tweezers.
I did a slight up flick with the ends of the falsies to help open my eyes up! The overall effect that they gave? Hmm… Close ups look awesome but check out my ‘both eye’ picture.
I’ll be honest, I hate the effect it gave. -laughing- The feedback that I got from my friends was that my lower lashes were too long. -pauses- I thought they looked alright [they’re very Ranzuki aren’t they?!] but the upper lashes didn’t quite suit me – quite like Dolly Wink 02…
One of my readers, Rina, mentioned that cutting off one small section from the end made the Dolly Wink lashes work for her so I might just try that out! 😀
The fibers were decently soft, they felt a little bit like the quality from Dolly Wink and really, it’s the first time I’ve received false lashes from a magazine! -laughing- I’m not complaining!
I believe the magazine is already out of stock but even if they were in stock, I wouldn’t quite recommend them ^_^||| They don’t seem very universally suitable to me.

i hope you’ll be able to open sprees for the lash brands that you’ve been trying out and reviewing. coz not only my hands are itching to get them, my eyes are itching to try them!

The lash is just…. so…. fake??? although I like that its flexible.
XD I know right? Don’t know but I just kinda think this design wouldn’t quite work on too many people…
Remember the first few pages of the mag though? They suggested cutting it up before using it…. Mmm… Maybe I’ll try that out…

the trick to getting #2 work is that the pointy parts of the lashes must start from above your iris (i.e. the non-white part of your eyes). it means if you start from the outer corner of your eye, it’s straight lashes on the white part, the pointy parts should start from your iris onwards and all the way to the inner corner of your eyes.
the focus of #2, which is making your iris larger etc etc.
