NYX Lipstick Strawberry Milk [[SWATCH]]

-clearing a backlog of lipstick swatches-

Yes sweetheart! 😀 I’m back again with Strawberry Milk from NYX!

Scent:
Mmm… Scented soap, but this one seemed to have faded a lot quicker.

Does it smell like plastic at all?
Once again…. No. Hmm. I’m beginning to really doubt the plastic thing.

Texture:
Creamy, most definitely! And I really am in love with it!

Colour:
Ah, this. It’s extremely light, so if you’re not into very light lips, you might not like it.

You’ll also need to exfoliate + moisturize before using this colour because any imperfections will show up right away the moment you use it. It’s impossible to spread without it streaking a little, so watch out for it.

The image above shows it without any blending.

And here it is blended. It will definitely fit into the creases of anyone’s lips so make sure it’s a baby smooth base or it won’t work too well.

How long does it wear?
About the same as my Tea Rose lippy – not incredibly long and it doesn’t leave any sheen at all.

So Jae, will you rebuy?
Haha, because I like light lips? Yes! 😀

By the way!

One of you asked whether Yui Kanno’s book will be coming in to Books Kinokuniya and a check with the staff mentioned that they’d placed the order in October but the supplier still hasn’t sent the stocks over.

The book retails at 28.70SGD and according to the staff I spoke to, it’ll be in in about 2-3 weeks! 😀 I’ve placed an order for it, have you? 😀
