EYEMAZING Cosmeline Cheek Color in Shell Pink [[REVIEW]]

Posted in Candy Doll, EYEMAZING, MELLIESH by Jae on April 7, 2011

I’m so sorry I was away for so long, my pretties, this girl was down with food poisoning (I love Twitter and I hate seafood chowder) and couldn’t quite move around at all till yesterday.

So i figured okay, have to make it worth you wait and I do believe this review is -grinning-

We’ve heard a lot about Jun’s false lashes line but she’s also come up with a makeup line – a spin-off from her original EYEMAZING lashes.

Today will be about EYEMAZING Cosmeline Cheek Color in Shell Pink!

That’s right, if you’re in Singapore and you haven’t gotten your magazine fix, it’s time for you to bring out your wallets because the Kinokuniya 20% sale is back and I’m going to show you my top picks for the month!

Posted in Candy Doll, Chacott, MELLIESH by Jae on January 27, 2011

And I’m back with the follow up review for Chacott’s clear Finishing Powder.

So you might be wondering, hey, it’s a clear powder, what’s there to review, well, you and I both know that there are many type of “finishing powders” on the market at the moment.

Chacott 01 [764] VS Chacott 02 [766] Finishing Powder! GO! [[REVIEW, IMAGE INTENSIVE]]

Posted in Candy Doll, Chacott by Jae on January 25, 2011

Haha, capital letters because I’ve got exciting news for you at the end of this post but before that!

I’ve got tonnes of these Chacott Powders at home with me because I never ever want to run out of this stuff. This is my favourite loose powder of ALL time hands down – I did a previous comparison review between this powder, Candy Doll’s Mineral Powder and AngelColor’s loose powder as well and this one came up tops.

So today, I’m going to talk about the other shades that I’ve got in my stash.

Today’s comparison will be between shades 01 [764] and 02 [766]. Please note that the post today is very image intensive!

Jae! You’re on a Canmake Blush Roll!

Today’s Canmake Powder Cheek in PW05~

Canmake blush in PW20! [[REVIEW]] [[VS MELLIESH AND CANDY DOLL]]

And as promised I’m bringing you more of Canmake’s lovely blushes. Today, we’ll be looking at Canmake’s Powder Cheek in PW20 and later, I will be comparing this blush with Melliesh in 02 and Candy Doll in Peach Pink.

-laughing- the brush is missing for this one because I took it out when I was swatching and tossed it into my boxes of canmake brushes. :3

On to the review proper now shall we? 😀

This post is image intensive!

That’s right!

I received a question recently from Claire about the highlighting of one’s face so I decided that yup, it’s time I made a chart of the areas that I usually highlight on my own face to give you a gauge of what it’s like 😀

Notice that for this tutorial I only marked out the areas to highlight and not to contour – this is because I’ll be doing another tutorial about contouring at a later date.

Today, we are only concentrating on highlighting – contouring will come later.

Canmake Highlighter 05 – Baby Peach [[REVIEW]] [[$]] (The war of the highlighters!)

Posted in Candy Doll, Canmake, Economical, MELLIESH by Jae on January 12, 2011

So I was at Watsons two days ago, browsing around, when the 20% off sign at the Canmake counter caught my eye.

Now only 11.90 SGD (down from the previous 14.90), the Canmake Highlighter in 05, Baby Peach looks very much like Candy Doll’s orange highlighter (ranking #5).

Also in this post, I’ll be comparing between Candy Doll, Melliesh and this highlighter, ready? let’s go!

** If you’re looking for good alternatives to some of the products that I have been recommending recently, then my next few posts for this week would be right up your alley 🙂 To mark my posts for economical products, I’ve placed a ‘$’ sign up with the title, so do look for that sign to see which products are super cheap in Singapore! 😀 **
